First Communion Instruction

Purpose: This class provides a basic understanding of the Lord’s Supper for 5th graders so they may commune.  Attending with a parent or guardian, the child is encouraged to enter into conversation about communion with their parents.  We also provide instruction for our younger children and their parents so they may come to the table to receive the bread as “The Body of Christ come for you” and be a part of the celebration.  This class is taught by the Children's Minister.
 
Regular Meeting Place & Time: Fellowship Hall on a Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Class is help several times a year and announced in the church newsletter and bulletin.
